International Documentary Association Fiscal Sponsorship

We're thrilled to share that Mother of Buffalo is now a fiscally sponsored project of the International Documentary Association (IDA), the leading nonprofit supporter of independent documentary film. What this means is simple but big: because IDA is a 501(c)(3) charity, donations to support the film are now tax-deductible for U.S. supporters, and we can apply for grants reserved for nonprofits. It's an important step toward finishing the film and getting Jean's story out into the world.
